Worldview is designed to work without an account. We collect limited, first-party usage information to understand whether the experience works and which parts people find useful.

Information we collect

We record an anonymous browser identifier, a session identifier, pages and live locations viewed, approximate referral source, campaign parameters, and actions such as search, save, share, and Atlas interactions. We do not intentionally collect your name, precise location, or the contents of your viewing history outside Worldview.

Local information

Your saved locations, recent locations, and playback preference are stored on your device. Clearing browser storage removes them.

Third-party services

Live video is embedded or streamed from YouTube and participating public webcam providers. Weather, geographic information, and destination offers may come from other providers. Those services may receive information such as your IP address and browser details under their own policies when their content loads or you follow a link.

How we use information

We use aggregated activity to improve reliability, measure return use, understand acquisition sources, prevent abuse, and evaluate destination offers. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

You can clear Worldview’s browser storage at any time. Contact us to ask a privacy question or request deletion of information reasonably associated with an identifier you provide.
