High above the pristine Selati Game Reserve in South Africa, the Black Eagle Nest Cam offers an intimate window into the lives of one of the continent's most majestic apex predators. In partnership with the Selati Wilderness Foundation (SWF), this 24/7 stream monitors a nesting pair of Black Eagles (also known as Verreaux's Eagles) within a unique ecosystem dedicated to long-term conservation.

The Selati Game Reserve is protected wildlife area situated between the towns of Gravelotte and Phalaborwa, in the Limpopo province of South Africa, the reserve has an area of about 30,000 ha. The most endangered Lillie cycad, listed under CITES Appendix I, occurs in its hills, and an application for strip mining is seen as a threat.
