Wuling, formerly known as Sakuma Pass, is the saddle area between the peaks of Hehuan East Peak and the main peak of Taiwan's Central Mountain Range, at an altitude of 3,275 meters, making it the highest point on Taiwanese roads. It is located at the 31.5-kilometer mark on the Taiwan 14A line, within Taroko National Park, and falls under the jurisdiction of Ren'ai Township in Nantou County.

Mount Hehuan is a 3,416-metre-high (11,207 ft) mountain in Central Taiwan. The peak lies on the border of Nantou and Hualien counties and is located within the far west of Taroko National Park.
