Among Tsou tribes, Lijia is undoubtedly the most remote and secluded, a mysterious Utopia tucked away in the southern valley. Lijia is adjacent to Lijia Creek, at an altitude of 1,100 to 1,400 meters.

Alishan Township is a mountain indigenous township in Chiayi County, Taiwan. The Alishan National Scenic Area covers most, but not all, of the township and also parts of neighboring townships.
